Career Mentoring
We know planning your career can be hard, especially if you’re looking to have a large social impact. There are so many ways to make a difference, and it’s unclear where you should start.
Brown EA’s Career Planning Program helps you figure out how you can pursue an impactful and meaningful career, regardless of where you’re at in your undergraduate journey. We’ll help you explore potential job paths, clarify your thoughts, plan out your next steps, and connect you with mentors and potential job opportunities.
Our next round of the career planning program will run in Spring 2021.
Brown EA Career Planning Program
We offer a two-track career planning program designed for people who have completed our introductory fellowship or are familiar with EA. Each track is five weeks long and consists of weekly calls with your facilitator who can offer you personalized advice and feedback.
Track 1: Finding Ways to Make a Difference
If you have a rough idea of what causes you prioritize, you'll explore long term job paths for how you personally might contribute and actually make a difference on those cause areas.
Track 2: Next Steps & Optimizing Your Year
You’ll plan out the next career-related steps you want to take now and over the next year. We recommend doing this after you have an idea of what long term job paths you might be aiming for, and after you've done cause area exploration.
